A big heads-up for the web site of 15 year old Jessica Watson, youngest round.
Jessica is setting out to become the youngest person to sail solo non-stop and un-assisted around the World. Australian Jesse Martin set the current record in 1999. Jessica maintains a blog, where her progress can be followed.
I wish her all the luck and fair winds to complete this fantastic journey!
Hi! I am a Chinese but now attending college in the U.S. I have read the news saying that you are gonna solo sail around the world. Your courage is so admirable. I will pray for you. Be catious but not overly catiously. Wish you a safe journey. Your dream will be accomplished. God bless you!

i really admire J. Watson courage and determination to break the record of being the youngest sailor ……. All the best of luck and Godspeed.
However, In my own humble opinion, I think she should take into consideration the valuable advise of Andrew Cape – Whitbread/Volvo Ocean Race veteran.
I am with you about her courage and determination, which is admirable in a person her age.
I also have worries about the safety aspects of solo sailing.
Thanks for your comment.
Dear Jessica,
